We’re Not Just Hiring an Electrician—We’re Recruiting a Mission-Driven Builder
At EZ EV Electric, we’re not your average electrical company. We’re a fast-moving, founder-led startup on a mission to electrify how America charges—and we’re looking for an Electrician who’s hungry to grow with us, not just work for us.
This role isn’t for the faint of heart. You’ll be in the trenches helping us scale EV infrastructure across the state, solve real-world electrical challenges, and build systems, not just follow them. If you’re tired of punching a clock and ready to leave your mark, we should talk.
What You’ll Do
Execute full scope electrical projects (panels, circuits, load calcs)
Oversee all aspects of EV charger installation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control in commercial and residential settings.
Manage a team of technicians and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet project timelines and budget.
Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and ensure that their needs and expectations are being met.
Ensure that all installations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team as needed.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Mentor apprentices
Work closely with dispatch, clients, and management to ensure excellence
Help shape internal SOPs, workflows, and jobsite quality standards
What You Bring
Valid Colorado Electrician License or at least 3 years’ experience
Minimum 3 years in the field (residential & light commercial)
Strong code knowledge and pride in doing clean, correct work
Comfort with iPads, scheduling apps (like Housecall Pro), and digital workflows
Excellent communication skills—client-facing and internal
A “figure it out” attitude.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a startup environment that demands creativity and grit
Bonus Points If You…
Have EV charger installation experience (Tesla, ChargePoint, etc.)
Want to grow into a foreman, operations lead, or estimator
Love the idea of shaping a company from the ground up
Are excited about electrification, energy, and building something bigger than yourself
What You Get
Respect. Growth. Opportunity.
Direct access to decision-makers, not layers of red tape
Real career upside as we scale—become a leader, not just a number
Work that’s meaningful, not repetitive
Final Word
This isn’t just another job—it’s a launchpad. If you’ve got the skills, the drive, and the mentality to build, we’re ready for you.
