Job Title: Residential Fencing Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fencing Operations Manager to join our brand new and growing fencing franchisor company. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of fencing operations, from project planning to execution, while also mentoring and training the owner in fencing industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential fencing techniques, materials, and operations management.
Company Overview: The goal of this new company is to build a best-in-class fencing franchisor, and this position will transition into an executive level role responsible for helping train and establishing standard operating procedures for future franchisees.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day fencing operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
Oversee the planning and execution of fencing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Training and Mentorship: Provide hands-on training to the company owner and franchisees, sharing industry knowledge, techniques, and operational insights. Develop and implement training programs for franchisees to improve skills and efficiency.
Project Management: Evaluate project requirements, prepare estimates, and coordinate with clients to define project scope and timelines. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage fencing crews to maintain a high-performing team.
Foster a positive work environment and encourage professional growth among team members.
Inventory and Equipment Management: Oversee inventory levels, sourcing materials, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Implement cost-effective strategies for procurement and asset management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in fencing installation, operations, or project management.
Strong knowledge of fencing materials, tools, and techniques.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in project management tools and basic computer software.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
