Roberts Electrical Contracting seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our team.
Overview of Position:
Responsible for planning, budgeting, and monitoring several electrical contracting projects from initiation to close. You will oversee a designated Superintendent and collaborate with the preconstruction team to ensure each project is completed efficiently, accurately,
and within the contracted scope of work and budget. In addition, the Project Manager serves as the main point of contact for customers, you will provide the highest level of professionalism and timely customer service in the industry. The Project Manager position is primarily office based, with routine jobsite walks. This position does not offer remote work options.
Essential Functions:
Upon job assignment, attend all handoff meetings with pre-con team, VP of construction, superintendent, etc.
Review contract details, drawings and building plans to establish a project schedule, budget, and communicate expectations to Superintendent and Foreman.
Pull all required permits
Monitor job progress against timelines to identify delays and resolve any issues, monitor Daily Logs/Hours/ QA&QC for potential issues or change orders.
Make important decisions for the job and execute those decisions accordingly
Material procurement and manage stage and store for your projects
Complete all change orders/RFI’s and communicate back to the field
Support the project Superintendent to ensure they have everything they need for their project, while holding them accountable to perform their own responsibilities, procedures and safety requirements
Responsible for overall job profitability, efficiency, contractual schedule, and customer satisfaction
Daily monitoring of company email
Attend weekly leadership meetings at the office, maintain a regular office schedule, occasional jobsite walks
The role involves occasional field visits which require walking on uneven terrain, standing for long periods of time, lift/carry heavy objects, climb ladders, work in variable conditions with variable temperatures with noise, dust, mud debris, etc.
Ability to drive, you may be required to visit multiple locations in a day.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
3 years minimum Project Management experience required
6 years electrical experience required
Journeyman Electrician certification required
Must be able to read Blueprints, experience with bidding programs (AccuBid or EBM is a plus)
Knowledge of NEC code requirements
Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam, etc.
Team oriented with strong communication skills
Dependable, efficient with the ability to follow through with all tasks assigned
Sense of pride in work produced
Position Benefits:
Salary $110k - $125k depending on experience
