Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced mechanic with strong traditional, "old-school" skills in automotive repair. If you have a passion for working with classic cars and using mechanical troubleshooting rather than relying on computer diagnostics, we want you on our team. This is an opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, where your craftsmanship and understanding of the fundamentals of auto mechanics will be truly valued.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, focusing on older models and classic cars.
Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
Must have strong knowledge working with carburetors, after market wiring harnesses and L/S 6 speed conversion. We don't do a lot of internal engine repairs IE timing chains, full engine rebuilds, etc.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Assist in restoring classic vehicles to their original specifications.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on older and classic cars (well-versed in the workings of classic, pre-electronic vehicles—those manufactured before the widespread use of computer systems, sensors, and advanced electronic control units (ECUs) that now dominate modern cars).
Deep knowledge of traditional automotive systems and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Own tools required
Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
A genuine passion for vintage cars and automotive history.
Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience.
Flexible work schedule.
