- Serving as the key advisor regarding administration and coordination of CISA operations activities within the region.
- Supporting the Regional Director and regional personnel during planning and execution of incident response, including drills, exercises or simulations, and special events [i.e. National Special Security Events (NSSE) and Special Event Activity Rating (SEAR)].
- Supporting the coordination of regional assessment activities (i.e. Regional Resiliency Assessment Program (RRAP) and other assessment activities), to include providing project management of critical infrastructure security operations within the region.
- Leading, managing and contributing to the CISA Regional Operations (OPS) core functions. Core OPS functions include tracking, reporting, serving as an information hub and clearing house, and maintaining critical data and information for regional personnel during steady-state, incident response, and project-based analytical support activities.
- Supporting the Regional Director in determining regional critical infrastructure(e.g. cyber, physical and chemical) protection and resilience priorities, goals and strategies to effectively provide infrastructure protection support within a region.
- Lead the analysis of critical infrastructure dependencies and interdependencies within region/district programs and conduct cascading effects analysis to determine how dependencies might affect the region during an incident.
