Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a full-time position with competitive pay for a large apartment complex located in South Denver. Full time permanent Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.
Duties:
- groundskeeping, trashing out the property and units as required as well as some general handy person work.
- Conduct tree care tasks such as pruning, and trimming.
- Assist with garden maintenance including planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment.
- Assist with general maintenance on repairing pathways, and fences.
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, raking leaves, and cleaning walkways
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of proper snow removal and ice fighting techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
-Must have a valid Colorado driver's license
