We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Dispatcher to coordinate and manage field service calls for our Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical divisions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations by serving as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and management.
The ideal candidate will receive incoming service requests, schedule appointments based on technician availability, and assign jobs according to skillsets, urgency, and location. You will prioritize emergency calls, track field team progress in real-time, and provide updates to clients as needed. Accuracy, multitasking, and clear communication are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
Answering customer inquiries and creating work orders
Dispatching jobs to appropriate technicians
Coordinating schedules for optimal route efficiency
Communicating ETA updates with clients
Tracking and documenting job status and technician performance
Supporting after-hours and emergency service calls
Previous experience in service dispatching, especially in the plumbing, HVAC, or electrical industries, is highly preferred. Familiarity with dispatch software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.) is a plus.
