Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machinery, tools, and resources to create
- Work with inside team members and outside stakeholders in a positive and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other wood craftsmen and metal fabricators to create designs that are true to the client’s vision.
- Safely apply various finishes in the shop and in the field.
- Ensure that the project can be completed within the allocated resources and timeline.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the benefits of various wood and metal materials and be able to use those characteristics in the design of furniture and fixtures
- Strong creativity, artistic ability, and imagination
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Moderate written and verbal communication
- Strong ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Advanced attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits:
- This position starts between $22.00 and $28.00 per hour depending on experience
- We work Monday-Thursday in the shop - you get long weekends!
- Occasional travel around Colorado and the mountain west which can be combined with personal vacations
