Role Overview:
As an Assembler and Clean Room Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical assembly of aerospace components and cleaning them in a controlled clean room environment. You’ll work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure all assemblies meet stringent specifications and traceability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, torque tools, fastener installation tools
Perform work in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom, follow contamination control protocols to maintain cleanliness requirements, and execute cleanroom activities using a variety of scientific instruments.
Interpret engineering drawings, and work instructions
Conduct in-process inspections and support final quality verification
Maintain 5S standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Document build steps and inspection results in MES or ERP systems
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing
Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Excel
Familiarity with clean room protocols
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using precision scientific and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, microscopes, microbalance scales)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams
U.S. Citizenship required for ITAR compliance
