We are growing and have an Immediate full-time opening. However we are NOT looking for a warehouse worker, we are in need of a Warehouse Specialist, a skilled and detailed oriented person who takes pride in their work. Repurposed Materials is a green company and we are dedicated to keeping as much discarded “industrial” waste out of the landfill as possible and getting it into one of our six locations around the country for customers to buy and “repurpose” into something new and creative.
You will be responsible for receiving material, inventory reporting and control, preparing and boxing products for shipping, loading and unloading customers and semi- trailers manually or with forklifts, keeping the warehouse and yard clean and organized, stocking products on pallets, using a pallet jack and similar activities. This position also requires engaging with customers and processing in-store orders as needed. Problem solving and applying skill and past experience to find solutions to problems.
Work hours Mon-Fri 8:30am -5:00pm (Weekends and overtime when needed but rare)
Starting pay at $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Paid sick leave, vacation and holidays.

The following requirements are a must:
Integrity
Receiving accuracy is critical.
Organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to accurately count inventory, perform addition, subtraction, and simple multiplication
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and repetitive lifting.
Willingness and ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Ability to take direction and understand verbal and written instructions
Work well independently and with team members.
Show initiative and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
Ability to meet daily deadlines.
Ability to use or learn to use QuickBooks and other digital programs to process orders.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Prior Forklift experience and ability to operate lifts safely
Familiarity with common material handling safety practices.
Ability to engage with walk-in customers and answer product questions.
Must pass a background check.
