As an upholster you will be working on a variety of custom upholstery projects, from restoring and repairing furniture to creating new, high-quality upholstered pieces. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Reupholster and repair furniture, including sofas, chairs, and other items.
- Measure, cut, and attach fabric to furniture frames.
- Apply padding, springs, and other materials as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and precision.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an upholsterer in furniture or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, tools, and upholstery techniques.
- Ability to read patterns and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift and move furniture.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
