part time Landscape Crew Leader
Are you looking for a summer and fall landscaping job that gets you outside and working with your hands, while also getting great exercise, sunshine, and fresh air? Gardens by Helen is seeking a hardworking part-time team member who is able to work independently and/or with another crew member on garden maintenance, fall bulb installation projects, and fall leaf cleanups in the Denver/metro area.
Benefits
Three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
$25 hour and up depending on experience
Flexible days off
Work begins July 22 and winds down Mid-November
Job Requirements
Positive attitude
Genuine passion and interest in garden maintenance
Attention to detail in the garden
Problem solving skills
Have a mobile phone available for work purposes
Be able to communicate via phone and text to owner, co-workers, and clients
Be able to work independently
Present oneself professionally
Have energy to work physically all day (raking, weeding, digging, planting, mulching, lifting up to 50 lbs)
Be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation to work and throughout the work day
Be able to drive manual transmission or a large truck
Must acquire basic work tools
Report the process and completion of each job
Skills and Abilities
Must be 18 years of age or older
Physically strenuous working position requiring outdoor work in all weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Work hours from 6:30 - 2:30 in summer and 7:30 am to 3:30 pm TWO days/week (extra work days available during spring, if desired)
Colorado driver’s license in good standing
