Job Description:
Kare and Kindness is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Host Home Providers. In this fulfilling role, you will welcome adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) into your home, offering them a supportive and nurturing family-like environment. They also offer emotional support and help the individuals participate in community activities. This role is both demanding and rewarding, as it involves creating a nurturing home environment for individuals with I/DD and making a significant positive impact on their lives. Being an independent contractor, a Host Home Provider has the flexibility and autonomy to manage their caregiving responsibilities within their own home.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Support daily living activities, including meal preparation, medical appointments, hygiene, necessary medical care and behavioral support.
- Provide assistance with laundry and transportation.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive home environment.
- Assist with community integration and recreational activities.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Person) Course in the state of Colorado.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Passion for caring for others and integrating them into your family dynamic.
- Ability to pass background checks and motor vehicle checks.
- Must be 21 years or older.
