This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, caregiving team! I am a female quadriplegic seeking one (or more) female caregiver(s) to help with personal care in my home. Tasks include: bathing in roll-in shower, dressing, bladder (catheter)/bowel management, transfer with ceiling lift, bed and chair positioning, light meal prep and minor housekeeping. Training is provided. Experience with home care and quadriplegics preferred. Must have personal transportation and be a non-smoker.
I provide part-time positions for my staff. I split my weekly care between 3 or 4 caregivers. Current shifts I'm trying to fill include:
Every OTHER Weekend:
Saturday mornings – 6:00-8:30 AM
Saturday evenings – 8-10 PM
Weekday mornings:
Monday - Friday mornings – 5:30 AM - 7:45 AM
Weekday evenings:
Wednesday evening – 7:30 PM-10 PM
Thursday evening - 7:30-10 PM
The shifts above may be too much for one person, so I am open to splitting them up and hiring two people. Applicants can identify what works best for them and I'll consider the options! Caregivers must have potential flexibility to fill in for other shifts during the week on the RARE occasions when that's needed. I prefer applicants who live no more than 20-25 minutes away (My closest big intersection is Hampden (HWY 285) and Sheridan). You must have your own transportation.

My spinal cord injury is C5/6 level, so I have some upper body mobility and use a motorized wheelchair. However, I do need help with personal care tasks mentioned above, transferring and positioning. I have a career, work full-time, and lead a very active life.
