Job Duties Include:
-Creating a positive workplace for guests and staff members.
-Greeting guests.
-Answering all phone calls in a polite and professional manner using prescribed methodology.
-Checking guests into and out of the hotel.
-Review arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed.
-Monitor room availability throughout the day.
-Complete all items on appropriate checklist by end of shift.
-Money handling and auditing.
-Office duties such as faxing, copying, printing, and internet research.
-Keeping the lobby and front desk areas clean.
-Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
-Attend department meeting as scheduled.
-Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisor
Requirements:
-A flexible schedule with weekend availability.
-Availability to work day/evening shifts.
-An individual that is self-motivated and able to work independently.
-Somebody that works well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
-Previous experience in customer service and good written and verbal communication skills.
-Must be able to stand, crouch, lift and move about for 8 hours at a time.
-Respond to guest inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
