Busy cafe in Uptown hiring for multiple shifts. Starting at 12, 24, and 29 hrs a week with possible extra hours available as the busy season starts. Earliest start at 7:45a, latest out at 3p. Each new staff member will be required to work the cash register and greet guests/take orders, they will make espresso drinks pour coffee and make smoothies, package pastries, heat up breads, and wash all dishes from the coffee counter as well as kitchen. All staff is also trained in the kitchen. We do not have a full kitchen, but light cooking of food, breakfast items, sandwiches, etc.
All team members must also be team players, we are a tight crew in a small space and respect and helpfulness is required. Must have a positive attitude and ability to multi task, and be a self starter.
Do not respond if you think coffee should be pretentious or snotty. We are very welcoming and approachable, and make beverages based on how our wonderful customers like, not getting hung up on terminology or status.
We offer a great environment to work, friendly customers, delicious coffee and food. Employees start at $21/ with cash tips on top. A daily food and drink credit for each shift.
