Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsThis position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Provides coordination of non-nursing unit functions, maintaining unit relationships with non-clinical services to facilitate efficient interdepartmental and unit functioning. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Duties may include, but are not limited to: manages visitor security, orients families to the environment, assists with the Admission process and order entry, maintains unit equipment and supplies, and participates in general cleaning of equipment per appropriate guidelines.Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children expects our iCARE behavioral standards to be reflected in the way every employee interacts with co-workers, providers, patients & family members, and with others in the community.

What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Two years’ experience as a unit secretary or previous clerical experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical practice and computer systems. Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care. Good telephone and interpersonal skills. Health care experience preferred.
