Description We are in search of a Senior Property Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is critical in our industry, where you'll be entrusted with the responsibility of handling accounting functions for properties, preparing budgets, and conducting CAM reconciliations. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.Responsibilities: Oversee accounting functions related to property management Prepare and manage budgets for properties Conduct CAM reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data management Handle accounts payable and receivable for properties Ensure compliance with accrual accounting principles Conduct audits as necessary to verify financial data accuracy Leverage ADP for financial services related to property management Employ AppFolio for streamlined property management Accurately code accounts for proper data classification Perform other property accounting tasks as needed.Requirements Ability to use AppFolio effectively is required Deep understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is expected Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Solid understanding of Accrual Accounting is essential Previous experience in Auditing is a plus Strong background in Property Accounting is required Experience in preparing budgets is essential Knowledge of Cam Reconciliation is necessaryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
