The team has assisted hundreds of companies across all industries to improve overall operational business processes or IT services within their organization by leveraging transformation, specialized talent, and innovation to accelerate costs savings and service performance improvement.The Oil and Gas MS team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated GIS Specialist to join our newand growing team to help expand our Land Administration solutions and support the back-office activities related to lease administration, and regulatory compliance within the upstream oil and gas sector. This role involves data management, polygon generation, analysis, GIS application administration and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Applicants should have an interest in understanding the longer-term opportunities for enabling the growth of all the underlying solutions. This role will require supporting development and execution of strategies that drive business growth, market expansion, and competitive advantages, as well as lead the delivery of services. This Specialist will be responsible for supporting the relationships internal and external to the managed services organization and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a combination of analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, Land managed services delivery management and the capacity to adapt to changing internal dynamics and market trends.Key responsibilitiesThese roles and responsibilities can evolve and adapt based on the organization’s growth and trajectory, industry shifts, and strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include developing and executing on the organization’s strategic vision, collaborating with key stakeholders to align on areas of growth and expansion, and leading the delivery of services across a global, cross functional team. Key areas of focus for this role will include:

Program management and Delivery: Lead the delivery of managed services and drive successful outcomes according to client objectives and key results. Spearhead the planning, execution, and governance of Land Management projects and managed services across multiple geographies, with expertise in India delivery. Manage large-scale managed services engagements, delivering consistent results in customer satisfaction and service delivery. Ensure alignment with global standards and deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Oversee distributed, cross-functional teams delivering lease administration, data management, polygon generation, analysis, GIS application administration and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Lease Administration: Utilize GIS technology to map and track lease boundaries, manage spatial lease data, and ensure accurate representation of property rights and encumbrances.

Cartography: Create, update, and maintain high-quality geospatial maps and visualizations that support land management, lease negotiations, and decision-making.

Data Analysis: Analyze spatial data to identify trends, optimize asset management, and provide insights that support lease planning and risk assessment.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure spatial data aligns with local, state, and federal land use regulations, environmental restrictions, and reporting requirements.

Coordination with Front and Mid-Office Teams: Collaborate with stakeholders to align GIS data with business strategies, ensuring lease management supports corporate objectives and operational efficiency.

Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate GIS-based lease records, generate reports for internal and regulatory use, and ensure proper documentation of lease agreements and land assets.

Communication: Activate the necessary communication channels to effectively distribute updates across the organization, foster a sense of belonging and inclusion for onshore and

offshore teams, support knowledge sharing, and contribute to organizational transparency especially during periods of heavy change.Additional responsibilities include:

Lead the delivery of managed services and drive successful outcomes according to client objectives and key results.

Streamline operational policies, processes, and tools to align with SLA and reporting requirements.

Leverage sector and product expertise to advise team on how to, and directly participate I, the design and implementation of solutions to resolve challenges. Track progress and dependencies to identify and resolve any bottlenecks or challenges that arise. Develop and foster relationships with key client leadership and drive strategic alignment to client’s long-term vision.

Specific focus on day-to-day delivery, with attention on the details of the client engagement.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact and trusted advisor

Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and creative approaches to business

growthSkills and attributes for success

Possess an understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry, including emerging trends, best practices,

and regulatory requirements

Experience with Oil & Gas-specific industry business processes and commonly used enterprise software in areas such as land management software GIS systems, as well as surrounding technologies.

Manage concurrent activities and prioritize work of complex strategic programs with tight

deliverables and a strong attention to detail

Create effective state-of-the-business or point-of-view presentation materials for executive

updates, client discussions, and strategic pursuits

Aptitude to analyze data and identify trends/observations to drive data-driven decision-making

Leverage his/her background in communications and organizational problem-solving to solve for

executive level challenges

Communicate issues and risks to project teams and stakeholders to provide visibility, facilitate

resolution and escalate when necessary.To qualify for the role, you must have

A minimum of 5 years’ experience and high proficiency working with O&G Land Management Applications and technology tools – ESRI Suite, Python and FME

And at least one of the following:

Experience working in a consulting or managed services role within Oil and Gas industry, a professional services firm, and/or accounting firm.

Data and Analytics – data management as a service

Land Services/administration

Expertise in enterprise IT strategy, cloud services (AWS & Azure), IT Service Management, Agile frameworks, and system migrations.

Proven leadership experience in managing digital transformation projects, large-scale transitions and managed services engagements.

A results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on empathy, proactive problem-solving, andrelationship-building.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet aggressive deadlines.

Availability to travel as required by clients.

Successful candidates should expect to work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

A valid passport, or the ability to obtain one is required.

A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance or a related discipline.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
