Director Quality ImprovementLocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.The Director Quality Improvement will be responsible for driving the development, coordination, communication, and implementation of a strategic clinical quality management and improvement program.How you will make an impact:
Directs and provides leadership for implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Quality Management Program
Promotes understanding, communication, and coordination of the quality management program and the measurement strategy used by the organization to measure success of the clinical program
Develops data visualizations and dashboards, and develops data infrastructure for designing Quality and Performance Improvement measures, as well as reporting tools
Employs sophisticated statistical analytics for measuring intervention impact and communicates best practices Oversees pilot implementation and measurement design
Serves as a resource for the design and evaluation of process improvement plans/quality improvement plans and ensures they meet Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) methodology and any contractual requirements
Collaborates with other leaders in developing, monitoring, and evaluating Healthcare Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS) improvement action plans, year round medical record review, and over read processes
Provides data analytics and statistical modeling to ensure appropriate HEDIS measurement and rate improvement
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a health or business related field and 8 years of experience in a healthcare environment, including prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
MSN, MPH, or MPA preferred
Current clinical license preferred
CQM experience in a Managed Care Organization preferred
