ACPE Certified Educator Candidates are in an advanced educational program to learn to teach and supervise students who are learning to provide pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, patient families, and employees, and to develop ability to pastoral care to patients and families of all ages and backgrounds from birth to geriatrics, while maintaining their own skills as a pastoral care provider. ACPE Certified Educator Candidates are required to engage their own learning from other disciplines and develop a growing competency in educating and modeling the skills of pastoral care to others. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectable to all.The value you’ll bring to the team:
Utilizes knowledge of the levels of growth, development, and skills for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric care for purposes of clinical ministry and clinical learning.
Continues to maintain investment in learning and personal and professional growth for consistent progress in the Educator certification process.
Consistently utilizes developing skills and competencies in the profession of CPE Educator
Participates regularly in ACPE Communities of Practice and national ACPE conventions as determined appropriate in consultation with Training Educator
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Professional Chaplaincy experience
Competence in working on various online educational platforms and other online videoconferencing platforms.
Ordained/Commissioned or Licensed Minister
Ecclesiastical Endorsement
Certification as a Board-Certified Chaplain by APC, NACC, or other certification body who is a part of the Spiritual Care Collaborative
