Law firm is starting to offer criminal defense in addition to already established immigration practice. We are in need of a Seasoned private investigator to support on all criminal cases. We work with mostly Spanish speaking clients and as such your ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is necessary. We will be defending DUI, low level felonies, misdemeanors, traffic, and some drug cases. For many of our clients the immigration consequences are far more severe than the state penalty for the offense. Unfortunately, El Paso County DA is not interested in making immigration safe pleas, which means that we will want to aggressively litigate these cases to the maximum possible, and are prepared to invest in private investigation into each matter to see what we can come up with. This would be an independent contracted position.
