Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled mechanical installers for a short-term project at a distribution center in Colorado Springs. This hands-on role involves installing 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. Laborers will use hand and power tools, assist project teams with commissioning and building robotic arms and stations, and perform general construction and janitorial tasks.
This role is perfect for mechanically inclined individuals who can lift heavy loads, follow detailed instructions, and maintain excellent attendance. Previous experience in construction or related fields, such as auto mechanics, is highly transferable. If you’re comfortable working independently after training and have a strong understanding of basic safety practices, we want you on our team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (No overtime)
Pay: $22/hour, with weekly pay every Friday
Duration: 6-8 week contract
Responsibilities:
- Operate pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalog materials.
- Use hand and air-powered tools to assemble towers based on diagrams.
- Follow step-by-step instructions to run wiring for power supplies.
- Perform general labor tasks, including material handling and moderate to heavy lifting.
- Assist with robotics installation, cleaning, packaging, and other tasks as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attendance record and ability to follow directions well.
- Willingness to perform various tasks, including inventory and housekeeping.
- Comfortable in a contract-temp position.

Work Environment: The work takes place in a busy distribution center, which can be messy, loud, and crowded at times. All required PPE, including high-visibility vests, gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel-toe boots, must be worn.
