Progressive Campaign Internships in El Paso County, CO (College Credit Available)
Location: Across El Paso County, Colorado

Commitment: Flexible, 5–20 hours per week

About Us
We are a coalition of candidates and organizers working to build a fairer, more just and inclusive El Paso County — from local school boards to countywide offices, State offices, and Federal Representatives. Our campaigns focus on issues like reproductive freedom, affordable housing, climate action, and protecting democracy at every level of government.
About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to grassroots politics and campaign strategy. Interns will gain practical experience in political organizing, voter outreach, and communications — all while helping progressive candidates make an impact in their communities.
Prior campaign experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with voter contact (door-to-door canvassing, phone/text banking, community outreach)
-Support digital organizing and social media content creation
-Help manage event logistics, volunteer coordination, and data entry
-Conduct research on local issues and voter engagement trends
-Participate in team meetings and campaign strategy sessions
Qualifications:
-Passion for progressive causes and local democracy
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
-Comfort engaging with the public and working in a team environment
