As sustainment engineer on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and your client to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters. You'll work with our clients to evaluate, redesign, and author their system life cycle and sustainment policies, processes, and documents. Using your understanding of the DoDI 5000.2, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians to ensure life cycle and sustainment policy and documentation reflects DoD guidance and directives. - 4+ years of experience with integration and logistics planning of space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience with DoD life cycle logistics in a sustainment organization
- Experience with developing DoD sustainment documents, including Requirements Approval Document (RAD), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS BCA), Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Decision, Depot Activation and Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) Certification
- Experience with leading integration, schedule and logistics forums including logistics working groups, Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups (DMAWG), provisioning conferences, and Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG) meetings
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Ability to be highly motivated, demonstrate a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
- Experience with authorship of authoritative sustainment guidebooks, articles, white papers, and briefings
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in the military service's sustainment hierarchy, including program offices, program executive offices, hardware and supply systems commands, and defense agencies
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
