Title:Program MangerBelong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!Program SummaryThe SATCOM Program Manager will direct and provide leadership to contractor and sub-contractor teams working with programs in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements.Job SummaryThe SATCOM Program Manager will oversee and provide strategic leadership to contractor and subcontractor teams, ensuring adherence to established procedures, applicable regulatory frameworks, and government requirements. Acting as the primary contractor liaison, the Program Manager will serve as the official representative authorized to engage with the Prime Contractor, Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and government customer representatives.Key responsibilities include the development and enforcement of work standards, management of contractor schedules, resolution of work discrepancies, supervision of contractor personnel, and the effective communication of organizational policies, objectives, and goals to subordinate staff. The Program Manager will be accountable for the overall contract performance and is restricted from assuming any additional roles within the scope of this contract.The Program Manager will lead and coordinate contractor support teams across all mission program components. This includes the preparation and submission of monthly contract status reports to the Prime Contractor and government personnel. Additionally, the Program Manager will organize program review meetings, which involves coordinating logistics, preparing agendas, managing attendance, and disseminating meeting outcomes.Roles and Responsibilities· Responsible for the overall contract cost, schedule, risk and performance including Earned Value Management reporting and EVMS compliance and shall not serve in any other capacity under this contract.· Comprehensive understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, including response to Request for Proposal (RFP) through preparation of Basis of Estimate (BOE), development of Statement of Work (SOW), and expertise in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and technical volume creation· Demonstrate experience to include capability to lead program development from inception to deployment, expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms and demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity.· Manages contractor support team across all functional elements of the mission programs.· Coordinates program review meetings, including arranging for facilities and equipment, developing agendas, preparing attendance lists, and publishing meeting results· Responsible, through direct and regular interaction with the customer, for understanding and advocating customer requirements and objectives while delivering products and services meeting customer cost,schedule, and performance expectations.· Management of programmatic cost, schedule, performance, and risk through the application of industry-standard tools and processes.· Implement programs through a risk and oversight approach for all phases of program activities; identifies risks and problems, proposes solutions, and provides timely and accurate contract deliverables.· Develop and interpret policies in specific program areas, and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to top officials in the development of cooperative relationships, resulting in theformulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet local, State, and Federalgoals and objectives.· Direct, administer, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas.· Lead a group of team members in carrying out a program, administering and carrying out programrequirements and activities and assure compliance program activities with laws and regulations.· Generate and deliver all contract required CDRLs/SDRLs.· Ensure the effective management of the assigned program areas.· Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications BS / BA Engineering, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field and at least 10 years combined experience in program management, business development, and DoD acquisitions. In lieu of formal education, 18 years of directly related experience. Specific contract requirements will prevail. Must have active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility to start Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Theoretical and practical project management knowledge Experience with working in and managing dynamic and demanding programs Experience with assisting in leading engineering development, design, production and sustainment efforts Experience in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications· Masters degree preferred· Experience in strategic planning, program proposals, risk management and/or change management· Proficiency in project management software tools· Experience in executing Earned Value processes and procedures aligned with EIA-748 standards and delivering formal program reporting i.e., IPMR (Formats 1-7), IPMDAR, etc.Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000KBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
