Description The Office Clerk will execute a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support our organization's daily operations. The Office Clerk will be responsible for maintaining files, answering phone calls, processing documents, and updating records. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a detailed understanding of office management.Responsibilities:

Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.

Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate.

Assist in arranging meetings and other office events as needed; Attend meetings and keep minutes.

Liaise with the finance team to assist in the preparation of budgets and expense reports.

Update and maintain office policies as necessary.

Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

Perform data entry tasks and update the organization’s databases.

Assist with volunteer or donor correspondence and outreach.

Maintain and update general organization's calendar.

Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence.

Proven experience as an office clerk or relevant role.

Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.

Experience working in a non-profit environment is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in office administration or relevant field is a plus.

Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Capacity to interact positively with a diverse range of people, and commitment to promoting an inclusive office environment.

Understanding and passion for the mission and goals of a non-profit organization are highly desirable.
