Job Title: Heavy Equipment OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for the installation of underground utilities on new build construction sites. The primary responsibilities include:
Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
Digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and performing cut grading.
Reading stakes and blueprints to ensure accurate grading within +/- 0.10’.
Using lasers to shoot grades.
In addition to operating machinery, the operator will be expected to assist with various tasks as needed, including manual digging with shovels and laying pipe. This role involves working on closed commercial construction sites primarily located from Castle Rock to Pueblo, with potential projects in Rocky Ford and Buckley Airforce Base.Hard Skills
Extensive experience with heavy equipment operation.
Experience in underground utilities and site work.
Proficiency in grading with a precision of +/- 0.10’.
Ability to read and interpret stakes and blueprints.
Skilled in using lasers for grade shooting.
