Propose and implement enhancements to the Quantum Computer control software to increase throughput and customer responsiveness
Work across a variety of technologies, constantly adapting to use the best tool for the job.
Work with a diverse team including Physicists and other engineering disciplines to solve a variety of problems
Create high quality code in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of industry or graduate experience in an engineering, lab, or R&D environment
2+ years of experience with Python, C, or OOP language

WE VALUE:
Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science or field related to Quantum Computing
Ability to solve complex problems and clearly document/communicate how you did it
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple data representations and data structures
Experience integrating a diverse set of components including hardware and software, particularly in a fast-paced or laboratory environment
Knowledge of container/image technologies such as Docker or Vagrant
Proficiency with software testing and deployment tools
Experience developing code interfacing with laboratory equipment including sensors and controllers
Knowledge of back-end server infrastructure, queues, messaging, databases, etc.
Proficiency developing software for both Windows and Linux environments
Compensation & Benefits:
Non-Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $80,000 to $160,000
Benefits: This role offers employment benefits, including health care, 401k, vacation and sick time.
