Job Title: Line Supervisor – Modular Factory

Reports to: Assistant Production Manager

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday

Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour

Benefits: PTO, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision

Organization Overview: Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to building affordable homeownership solutions in collaboration with the community. Our mission is to provide safe and decent housing for families in need, supported by volunteers and community partnerships.

Position summary:

The Production Foreman will be production line experienced with modular assembly practices. Will be responsible for successful completion of each project entering and exiting the production facility while managing applicable departments of responsibility. This will be a team effort between Line Supervisors, Assistant Production Manager, and Factory Manager. Manage each station department with adequate staff, training, tools and equipment and materials.

Must ensure the modular manufactured product will meet and/or exceed all State, Local and 3rd party, legal requirements, customer, and company expectations. Must ensure production efficiencies are met with all labor percentages.

This position will report directly to the Assistant Production Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

This position must adhere to the Safety and Quality Assurance programs the company has adopted.

90-95% of this position must be utilized in the factory on the production floor.

This position will require “hands-on” training, assistance and filling in for absenteeism if necessary.

Responsible for supervising up to 6-8 factory stations.

Must be able to maintain balance of the production line so line moves are consistent.

Monitor break times, attendance, and punch times for applicable employees.

Must be fluid in plan review, red-lines, RFI requests, change order processing.

Review plan sets in phases for new projects being designed.

Keep track of all tools and equipment within each department

Complete all training required by Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. First aid, CPR, Forklift, Safety, etc.

Must be quality conscience in every station.

Conduct or supervise daily tool-box meetings for each station.

Supervise all stations are adequately clean each day before the shift ends.

Attend initial project kick-off meetings with Project Management to determine any

pinch points and/or bottlenecks.

Train and assist department station lead and/or designee related to an applicable department.

Verify sign-off by Station Leads all Quality Assurance checklists for each station before module moves to next station.

Verify testing has been completed in any applicable station before module is moved.

Must populate each job folder with applicable information required for all projects.

Act as a catalyst for continual change and improvement in Quality and Performance.

Monitor Quality Assurance of any Sub-contractors hired.

With a new company that is growing, your job duties may be modified from time to time as required.

Qualifications:

Major construction and/or Modular assembly line experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and/or details.

Ability to supervise employees, subcontractors, FHFH volunteers, and BVSD TEC students while earning respect and teaching a crew with a hands-on approach in a team atmosphere.

Organizational, decision-making and time management skills

Attention to Detail

Excellent Communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Disciplined work ethic, great attitude, and energy

Ability to walk on concrete all day long and lift materials up to 75 lbs. This can add up to 10 miles per day.

Great Conflict resolution skills
