Hello!
We’re looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented technician to join our small team, helping us restore and re-power vintage VW Buses with modernized drivetrains.
Detailed knowledge of VW buses is not a prerequisite - we’re ideally looking for someone ready to dive into learning our process for doing Modern Bay Builds - not reinvent the wheel (though recommendations to improve the process or system are always more than welcome!).
This role wears many hats around the shop, including but not limited to mechanical work on systems such as steering, brakes, suspension, heat, AC, engines, transmissions, cooling systems, wiring - basically, if it’s on a bus you’ll likely be working on it and installing it.
You need enough experience to generally know your way around various automotive systems and how they work along with a strong drive to execute and improve the process.
Our team is small but mighty, our Bus builds are second to none, and we’re looking for the right person who’s ready and willing to go the extra mile to give our clients the best experience and the best VW Bus builds anywhere on the planet.
Our shop is also generally a wholesome, positive environment, and we’re hoping to find someone to add to the good vibe we’ve got going.
Compensation: Depends on Experience
Interview Process: Initial Phone Screen then a final interview will be a paid work session on site with us.
