hybrid opportunity for you! Based in our

Boulder, Colorado location, you will serve as the primary technical contact to customers throughout the life cycle of Tier 2 and higher projects. Focus is the technical and commercial engineering of solutions, proposals and subsequent execution of assigned PMO projects, and ensuring our contractual commitments are fulfilled. The Project Engineer works with customers on sizing, selecting and recommending flow and density equipment that matches application requirements.

As a PMO Project Engineer, you will:
  • Serve as the primary technical customer contact on assigned projects and accounts during all phases of the project life cycle and be the information resource for the PMO team
  • Promote the use of Emerson corporate policies within the PMO project environment
  • Apply PMO project methodology and standards to all projects; actively participate in the continuous development and implementation of PMO, ensuring local applicability and adoption
  • Be responsible for understanding and continuing to enhance knowledge of Flow products, applications and industries
  • Participate in project evaluation/lessons learned meeting
  • Assist in collecting accurate priority docs for customer submittal, followed by reviewing the customer documentation comments and create revisions when required
  • Ensure project engineering documentation is approved and completed to schedule
  • Collaborate internally and externally in project update meetings
  • Stimulate the factory change order process to ensure maximum project value is realized
  • Engage in internal and external kick off meetings with EPCs and end user project teams and partners
  • Have direct involvement in project strategy and then assign actions to begin the development of the proposal
  • Complete review of RFQ (request for quotation) and other portions of proposal and produce a complete bid package while seeking to gain an understanding of the customer requests and requirements
  • Review purchase order commercial and user documentation, checking for consistency/inconsistency between order, RFQ and bid package
  • Certify all the information supplied in the quote reflects the order accurately to ensure clean order execution
  • Anticipate problems, facilitate solutions and address project issues in a timely manner with good team collaboration and excellent follow up with the customer

Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or technical field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience working with customers in a project, sales or inside sales capacity
  • Good knowledge of Flow industry culture, structure, and products
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Project management experience
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in the process control industry
#LI-Hybrid #LI-NB2 Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $63,700 - $97,500 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
