About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):09Location: Englewood, Colorado (Hybrid)The Team:Our team is dedicated to ensuring compliance and efficiency in payroll tax processes. Register for new tax accounts for multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Reconcile payroll tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Stay updated with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance.

Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Provide guidance on payroll tax-related matters.

Perform other duties as needed to support the payroll department.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $53,084 to $95,087. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 3 years of payroll tax experience in multiple FEIN and multi-state environment.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Knowledgeable in using Workday for payroll and payroll tax functions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.

Team player with a strong work ethic.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
