responsible for initiating and supporting work efforts that maximize

The Operating Room at Anschutz campus is a 14 OR unit that treats children and
adolescents for any level of injury or illness. The unit supports 24 different
surgical specialties and performs more than 23,000 cases a year. We are a
unique, yet impressive team comprised of bachelor's prepared nurses,
certified surgical technicians, anesthesia technicians, anesthesia
providers, and surgeons. The staff in the OR are proud to provide safe
quality of care to our patients. We perform a wide variety of surgical
procedures including abdominal and thoracic surgery, bariatric surgery,
cleft, craniofacial, and plastic reconstructive surgery, colorectal
surgery, cardiac surgery, ENT surgery, fetal surgery, burn
treatment, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery,
ophthalmology surgery, gynecologic procedures, transplant surgery, and
urology surgery. Our OR nurses and surgical technologists receive extensive
training and education in all surgical specialties promoting communication,
teamwork, and critical thinking. We promote continued education and
