Job Description:
R Wagon Bar is seeking a dynamic and sociable individual to join our new ownership team as Bar Manager. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Previous experience in the industry is highly desirable. The Bar Manager will oversee all aspects of bar and event operations, including staffing, scheduling, customer service, and promotion.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop business strategies and events to attract more customers and optimize profitability
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Schedule and supervise bar staff
Update and maintain menu (food and beverage) both in print and online
Ensure facility cleanliness and organization
Oversee daily operations and special events
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures
Maintain safety protocols
Handle customer and staff issues promptly and effectively
Plan and execute events and promotions
Manage social media presence and marketing efforts
Conduct staff training on bartending and customer service
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Proficiency in POS system usage
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Requirements:
At least 21 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in relevant service industry role
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a bar atmosphere
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in social media platforms
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Minimum two years of restaurant/bar management experience preferred
Previous event management experience preferable
Excellent time management and delegation skills
Confident, team-oriented management style
Self-starter and problem solver
Friendly and professional demeanor
