Job DescriptionThe Recreation Worker II is responsible for daily horse maintenance and care, providing guided horseback tours to guest, and running mule trains to transport supplies to various camps. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.COMPENSATION: The hourly rate of pay for this position is $16.00. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.Job Responsibilities? Lead guests on guided trail rides? Provides lessons to guests on basic horsemanship, riding, and horse care? Interacts with guests to ensure rides are educational and safe? Performs administrative duties including answering phones, taking reservations, and processing payment for rides? Provides care for horses and maintains barn/stables? Adheres to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety of guests and horses? Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.? Demonstrates working knowledge of horsemanship, riding, and horse care? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal? Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of greater than 50 lbs.? Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperaturesThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
