- Network Operations Support of vSDM - Fault, Configuration, Administration, Performance (FCAP) • Monitoring and surveillance activities and Assist O&M staff to carry out tasks and activities related to day-to-day operations
- Event detection and symptom collection (collect logs, traces, alarms, etc) • Routine diagnostics and corrective action management • Open tickets on encountered issues and support working on the cases until closed • Provide a periodic activity report to Nokia and customer • SW or Feature Testing/Validation, Service Provisioning using Supplier provided documentation: • Service and feature level configuration activities – Global parameters, parameter tuning, growing in new interfaces.
- Software upgrades/patches within the current release as needed. • Support resolution of issues encountered during the testing/validation/provisioning activities • Provide feedback on documentation (MOP, etc.) to help the production team’s rollout • Provide a periodic activity report to Nokia and customer • Technical consultancy • Attend conference calls and/or meetings as required. • Convey Nokia recommendations concerning tuning of the management mechanism(s). For example, this may involve fine-tuning the alarm levels to eliminate unnecessary alarms.
- Provide evaluation and recommendations to Verizon on the NOC process and procedures. • Provide a periodic activity report to Nokia and Dish • Good understanding of telecom principles including familiarity with 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G Core technologies • Flexible with working hours and should be ready to work on sight
