AllTran is an asset-based freight brokerage, based in Vancouver, WA founded in 2013 with national and international operations. Over the years we've been expanding our presence in California and we are seeking a sales representative to better serve our current customers and develop new customer relationships in California.
We’re seeking a full-time experienced sales specialist, preferably in the Central Valley of California. Regular travel throughout the state and occasionally outside of the state is required. The candidate for this position will be expected to bring a current book of business which they will manage and grow through both inside and outside sales.
A great sales associate must be presentable, have excellent communication skills, the ability to professionally navigate stressful situations, able prioritize tasks efficiently, self-motivated and have at least 1-year experience in freight brokerage sales. Candidates must be self-directed, knowledgeable, professional and a great team player. As a company we make teamwork a priority and ensure everyone has the proper tools to be successful.
Requirements:
· 3+ years of freight brokerage experience with most recent year in sales
· Current book of business
· Self-starter
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Proficient with computers
· High closing success rate
· Ability to prioritize tasks
Preferred Experience:
· Experience with Zendesk CRM
· Lead generation
· Knowledge in flatbed and oversize
· Dispatch experience
· Carrier knowledge of the area
· knowledge of rates
