For over two and a half decades, City Wide has been an industry leader in providing reliable, first-class maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day upkeep for commercial properties throughout the Western United States.

JOB SUMMARY

The Level One Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and service tasks across assigned commercial properties. This role requires a basic working knowledge of facility maintenance practices and equipment, with a strong commitment to safety and service quality. All duties must be performed in accordance with company policies, local ordinances, and safety mandated by Cal/OSHA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate working knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in grounds and facilities maintenance environments.

Execute maintenance tasks and assigned work orders in alignment with company expectations and timelines, maintaining flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.

Respond to and remove illegally dumped items and large debris as assigned.

Perform general exterior maintenance duties, including debris removal throughout parking areas, landscaped sections, and dumpster enclosures.

Support minor maintenance efforts such as touch-up painting, replacing signage, and addressing cosmetic repairs.

Address and remove graffiti from multiple surfaces, utilizing paint-matching techniques and surface preparation methods as needed.

Conduct cobweb removal from building entrances, canopies, doorways, and trim to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Identify and appropriately handle the removal and disposal of hazardous materials (e.g., needles, biological waste) when necessary.

Ensure all work meets visual quality standards and supports the overall upkeep of the property.

Safely operate company vehicles and machinery to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

Ensure proper cleanup and restoration of job sites after project completion.

Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment and power tools.

Daily upload of service completion photos at all sites into the company Portal to maintain accurate documentation of site conditions and all completed work.

Maintain job-related documentation, including time records, service logs, material usage reports, and receipts as applicable.

Ensure proper use of PPE and adhere to Cal/OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies.

Conduct visual inspections of the property to identify items needing attention and report findings to your supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, supplies, and assigned vehicle (if applicable)

Complete and submit required inspection forms for company vehicles, trailers, and issued equipment to ensure readiness and accountability.

Utilize company-provided software, email platforms, team chat applications, and mobile portals for efficient communication and task management.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of two years’ experience of relevant prior commercial maintenance experience.

Willingness to learn maintenance skills and take directions from experienced technicians and supervisors.

Experienced in performing general maintenance tasks using industry-standard tools and equipment with care and efficiency.

Demonstrates a high level of accountability, punctuality, time management, and commitment to quality work.

Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and document work through mobile apps or written logs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
