Job Title: Groundsman
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Groundsman to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work well as a team. If you have a passion for landscaping, tree care, and hard work we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform property care duties such as weedeating and raking
- Possibilities to operate and maintain grounds equipment including skidsteer, excavator, dump trucks
- Conduct tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and removal
- Assist tree climbers in roping techniques
- Execute landscape maintenance tasks to enhance the overall appearance of the property
- Some planting efforts may also be performed
Skills:
- Follow direction
- Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of fire clearance practices
- Familiarity with tree and fire abatement industries
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team
Lodging:
-A bunkhouse is provided for workers only and are expected to either stay at bunkhouse monday through friday or be on time due to own means of transportation every early morning Monday through Friday
-Families and guests are not welcome at bunkhouse through the work days
-We normally start early mornings to beat the heat during the summer months sometimes as early as 6am or 7am for an 8 hour day
-Must be 18 years or older
