Job Description
We are seeking Home Health Aides to join our winning team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients. Working for ASAP Home Health you will be considered an independent contractor and the starting rates for an HHA can vary with experience. Come grow with our agency
Responsibilities and Duties
Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
Provide basic patient care and treatment
Communication skills
Observation, reporting, and documentation of a clients status and the care or service furnished
Temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings
Basic infection control procedures and instruction on universal precautions
Basic elements of body functions and changes in body function that must be reported to the supervisor
Maintenance of a clean, healthy, and safe environment
Knowledge of emergency procedures and emergency protocol
Recognition of the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of a client
Ability to work with the populations served by the agency, including the need for respect of client privacy and property
Appropriate and safe techniques in personal hygiene and grooming that include: Bed bath Sponge, tub, or shower bath Shampoo, sink, tub, or bed
Nail and hair care
Oral hygiene
Safe transfer techniques and ambulation
Normal range of motion and position
Adequate nutrition and fluid intake
Patient right
Qualifications and Skills
Home Health Aide certification required, as obtained through successful completion of an approved program. Able to work closely supervised to ensure competence in providing patient care
Current CPR Card, Current TB, Current Physical, Current ID/DLSSN Card
You will need a Certified Home Health Aide from the Department of Health or have an active CNA License and your CHHA Certificate

Salary: $12.00 to $13.50
