We're a fast-paced and growing team of over 45 custom cabinetry designers, fabricators, installers, and finishers, based out of Camarillo.
We're looking for an installation helper who can support and work alongside a lead installer. As part of a 2-member install team, you'll have the following responsibilities:
- Assist your assigned lead installer with all aspects of installing custom cabinetry; including installation, scribing trim and end-panels, hanging and adjusting fronts, cleaning, screwcaps, etc.
- Help maintain all site materials, tools, and equipment
- Properly maintain and organize the work truck with all materials, tools, and supplies needed daily
- Perform delegated instructions by lead installer with minimal supervision
- Maintain our high quality standards, craftsmanship in both service and production.
- Driving to and from jobs sites in assigned company vehicle, when needed.
- Help prep vehicle for next day's work and learn proper documentation of daily work logs and conveyance of all site observations both verbally and written.
- Help maintain a safe work environment, at all times.
- Help and maintain strong customer relations on site and work through difficult situations with diplomacy
Skills:
- Able to read a tape measure, understand and interpret floor plans and elevation drawings.
- Familiarity with tools, such as table saws, compound miter saws, skills saws, multi-tools, palm sanders, drills/impacts, levels, scribes, pneumatic nail guns (18ga/23ga), etc.
- Familiarity with how to scribe to floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Approach work and tasks with a positive attitude and enjoy the challenge of having to work through unique installs, dynamic job sites, and tight tolerances.
Qualifications:
- Valid CA driver's license with a clean driver's record.
- 1+ years' experience in the cabinet/cabinetry building trade: with verifiable references.
- Must be able to lift 100+ lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Show an aptitude to accurately use measuring tools, reading plans, cutting materials and using equipment.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times, according to our company standards.

- 8 hour shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM)
