Network Administrator
Wilwood Disc Brakes, the leading design, engineering, and manufacturer of high performance disc brakes
is looking for a detail oriented individual for our IT Department to provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level LAN over a WWAN including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Assist in the design, deployment, and administration of the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems.
Deploy and manage virtual machines in a Hyper-V environment.
Deploy and manage shared storage in a fail-over cluster environment with off-site replication.
Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Assist in the training of team members on new hardware or software.
Research and recommend approaches for system administration tasks.
Analyze and monitor server security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
Establish and maintain network user accounts, user environments, directories, security Using Active Directory tools and best practices.
Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems
Server support, upgrades, installs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge with new network technology and security
Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, IS or related field of study.
3+ years previous experience in IT and network administration
Must have strong problem solving and analytic skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Cisco, CCNA or CCNE certification
Microsoft Certifications, MCITP, MCSE
SonicWALL certification.
