Summary
The Lead Installer oversees the on-site installation of custom steel windows and doors. This role directs the order of installation, ensures precise execution, and acts as a primary liaison between the company, general contractors, and clients. Lead Installers must demonstrate excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and client-facing professionalism. When not on-site, the Lead Installer contributes to pre-installation tasks, hardware preparation, truck loading, and final unit quality control at the company facility.
Essential Functions
Project Planning & Execution
Lead and manage the full installation process from planning through completion.
Review and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans to confirm unit placement and alignment.
Ensure all rough openings are square, level, plumb, and true prior to installation.
Installation Performance
Install windows and doors to precise standards—straight, level, plumb, and fully functional.
Identify and resolve installation challenges using the proper tools, methods, and sound judgment.
Identify, communicate, and manage punch list items to ensure full completion and quality assurance.
Perform post-installation checks to verify all units operate correctly and meet quality expectations.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise, train, and mentor Helper Installers on best practices, safety, and installation techniques.
Assign daily tasks and provide on-site direction to ensure efficiency, quality, and accountability.
Client & Site Coordination
Act as the primary on-site liaison for general contractors, superintendents, clients, and fellow trades.
Represent Riviera Bronze with professionalism, craftsmanship, and positive communication.
Communicate jobsite updates, issues, or changes to the Operations Projects Coordinator in a timely manner.
Collaboratively problem-solve field challenges with site superintendents and other stakeholders.
Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship—installers are the face of the company at every job site.
Tools, Materials & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory of tools, hardware, and installation materials.
Ensure trucks are stocked and tools are clean, functional, and accessible for each job.
Oversee use of specialized equipment including laser levels, impact drivers, hammer drills, glass cups, and more.
Safety & Jobsite Compliance
Promote and enforce safe work practices during transport, handling, and installation.
Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and jobsite requirements to protect personnel and products.
Card Use & Expense Reporting
Use company-issued credit and gas cards responsibly for business-related expenses only.
Promptly upload and report all receipts in compliance with company procedures.
Post-Installation Support
Provide field service for previously installed units, including adjustments and touch-ups as needed.
Ensure protection of all units during transport, handling, installation, and clean-up.

Driving Operation: Skilled and confident in vehicle safety; forklift certified/experienced (preferred)
Experience: 5+ years in carpentry, metalwork, or construction/building.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with clients, general contractors, superintendents, and other trades on-site; bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
Travel & Driving Requirements
Safely operate company vehicles.
Frequent daily travel (2–6 hr drive time).
Frequently travel overnight, often 4–5 consecutive days per week, including early morning or late-night departures.
Must possess a valid REAL ID California driver's license or U.S. passport that permits domestic air travel.
