We are a local vacation rental company looking for a weekday Assistant to help make sure houses are prepared for guests and guests have what they need. You must be reliable and a problem solver with a great disposition and have reliable transportation. You must live in Oxnard or Ventura and you will need to drive.
1. Inspect houses prior to Guest arriving to make sure all amenities are in place and refilled, house is clean, lights and music are on. Presentation is everything.
2. Bring items to guest during their stay that were missing or broken (new coffee pot, more towels, etc.)
3. Show them how to turn on fire pits, work the TV, Internet problems.
4. Inspect immediate problems to determine best course of action (clogged toilet - plunge or call plumber)
5. Be handy- hinge needs tightening? Drawers need liners?
6. Have an eye for issues - Stain on the duvet? Change it. Rug looks dingy? Change it. Again, Presentation.
7. Coordinate with management and maintenance to be sure that all tasks are fulfilled.
8. Inventory and refill supplies for cleaners and guests.
This is a full time position for Monday through Friday, with the potential for 'on call' status during the week during busy times. Fun, rewarding position!
