RECEIVING/SHIPPING & PRODUCTION SUPPORT
Job Summary: The Receiving/Shipping and Production Support role at Teeccino Caffe Inc. encompasses a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, manifesting, loading, and maintaining inventory. This position requires regular interaction with all departments and demands efficient time management to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly and safely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
Receive products and document receipts in the electronic system.
Follow all receiving procedures meticulously.
Collaborate with the production supervisor to support the production team by staging the next day's scheduled
workload (bulk, packaging, other products).
Notify the supervisor of out-of-stock items, receiving issues, or warehouse concerns.
Properly store products in designated locations.
Maintain inventory location accuracy.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed.
Adhere to all food safety procedures.
Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Perform inventories and cycle counts as needed and requested.
Execute other duties as assigned by department leads and managers.
Minimum Qualifications and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural materials.
Extreme attention to detail and precise adherence to procedural instructions.
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Food and Beverage Handling Certificate.
Basic proficiency in Excel and Word.
Ability to apply basic math concepts.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED.
Willingness to work overtime if required.
Forklift Certification.
Maintain a minimum 98.5% receiving accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to get up and down from trucks and trailers.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (12.5 kg).
Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands; simple grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and lifting.
Ability to bend, twist, climb, and reach above and below shoulder level.
