Must have minimum one year experience working as a Med Tech/Caregiver.
You must be detail oriented, organized, and have excellent time management skills.
Also must be a team player, have good communication skills, personal integrity, with a level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate caregiving to residents with a focus on their well-being and comfort.
- Administer first aid when necessary and assist with ADLs as needed.
- Respect and uphold residents' rights while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor vital signs and communicate any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Manage time efficiently to prioritize tasks and provide timely assistance to residents.
Job Duties:
Provide supervision of medications for residents
Chart and document dispensation of all prescribed and over the counter medications
Monitor results, and observe clients for changes
Monitor and supervise mental and physical well-being of the clients
Contacting resident’s families and doctors in case of emergency and reporting resident’s status to all parties concerned
Receiving, storing and logging all medications
Record keeping of medication changes and destruction
Reorder medications
Log all the activities in the logbook
Other duties as assigned
