Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred License: LCSW, LMFT, Ph.D., Psy.D.
Must be licensed
Trained in evidenced based modalities
Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Family Systems experience is imperative
Experience with de-escalation and client stabilization
Team player and a systemic thinker
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to rapidly join with clients

Job Summary:
Primary Therapist will provide ongoing mental health and addiction treatment through individual and group therapy in compliance with state regulations. Our litmus test at Milestones is “How would you wish for your loved one to be treated?” We recognize and appreciate that each primary therapist has his/her own unique therapeutic style. We will assign clients to you that we believe will most benefit from your specific set of skills and abilities. We believe that a great therapeutic join has the best therapeutic outcome and will entice clients to remain in treatment, which provides the best results over time.
Duties:
Primary Therapist sees resident three times weekly and provides case management
Primary Therapist is responsible for scheduling family therapy when clinically indicated
Primary therapist completes weekly update calls and emails to families and referents (when release of information is in place)
Primary therapist attends weekly case consultation review on Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:30am
Submit typed DAP notes each day after individual and group therapy sessions
Treatment planning
Submit typed discharge summary within 24 hours of resident discharge
Submit brief client update weekly to the treatment team
Provide ultimate “guestology” to new clients and their family members
Coach technicians on interventions that can be used when you are not present or on site
Prior to each day you are on site for sessions, read all emails and shift reports before working with the residents
Maintain client confidentiality at all times
Operate within the ethical standards of the profession
Support the objectives and philosophy of the organization
