Title: Account Manager – Personal Lines
Location: Westlake Village, CA; (open to remote for PST, MST, or CST time zones)
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
As an Account Manager – Personal Lines, you will join a dedicated firm that focuses on serving
the unique needs of the healthcare industry. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day servicing
of an assigned portion of the book of personal lines business, You will play a pivotal role in
delivering exceptional and innovative customer service, while building and nurturing strong
relationships between our firm, insurance carrier representatives, and clients.
What You’ll Do:
Design, prepare, and recommend insurance proposals for new and renewal business,
approach prospective clients, and present new coverage options to existing clients.
Collect and analyze client information, negotiate premiums, coverage enhancements, and
retention levels on behalf of clients.
Provide administrative and technical support to clients, including policy renewals,
amendments, and coverage terms.
Resolve client issues independently and seek management involvement when necessary.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the insurance industry, specific coverage lines offered by
the company, and company business practices.
Arrange and attend meetings with clients and insurance carrier representatives, both
independently and with supervisors.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Highschool diploma. Undergraduate degree preferred.
Possess and maintain a valid California Fire and Casualty License.
5 or more years of experience working in the California Insurance Industry, with a
preference for Personal Insurance.
Strong understanding of business service functions, insurance terminology, and various
lines of commercial insurance.
Knowledge of underwriting and rating principles.
Demonstrated success in a customer service environment.
Knowledge of Agency Management System is preferred.
Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 software including Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent customer service, listening, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong project management abilities with the capacity to work under tight schedules and
deadlines.
Diplomacy, discretion, and judgment in building and maintaining interpersonal
relationships.
Superior written and oral communication skills, fostering collaborative working
relationships.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Positive, courteous, and professional demeanor with employees, clients, and vendors.
Ability to work independently and within a team, following instructions and accepted
practices to complete assignments.

Compensation:
Salary range between $85,000 - $110,000 annually – may be eligible for additional, discretionary
incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm’s performance.
Compensation will be determined by several factors including educational background and experience.
