The Job: We are currently seeking a full-time, full charge bookkeeper for our Ojai location. Although fluency with QuickBooks is helpful, to be considered for this role the ideal candidate must understand financial statements and the accounting schedule, have a keen understanding of double entry bookkeeping from the general ledger through the preparation of accurate financial statements, in addition to payroll and sales tax return preparation. This person must also have a sharp eye for detail and be quick to catch omissions and errors. Finally, the candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent and rigid deadlines.
Rate of pay is dependent upon experience and ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Financial statement preparation & reporting
Payroll processing and payroll tax & form processing
Sales tax preparation
Accounts payable
Requirements:
Minimum of Associates degree or certification in bookkeeping or accounting
Extensive knowledge in QuickBooks Desktop & QB Online, QB Pro Advisor a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft 360 suite of programs with particular emphasis in Excel
Strong organizational, written and verbal communications skills
Strong analytical, quantitative, and social skills
